There are many other sophisticated, fun features designed with sensitivity and empowerment in mind. There’s an in-app coin system alternative to the membership rate for those who want to communicate with a member without committing to a full month. Members can use coins valued to chat in two different ways. A member can direct message another member for a specific amount of coins. Alternatively, they can “pool chat” by using half the value of direct messaging and request a chat from another member. This “Shoot Your Shot” messaging feature will allow for minimal investment. The other member can either accept the request (by pooling the other half to open a chat) or they can decline. Once a pool chat request has been declined or ignored for three days, the coins are returned. Coins used in direct messaging are not returned.
The app also features a photo reveal request that can only happen in exchange of another picture. If a member with hidden pictures requests your photos, they are agreeing to reveal theirs simultaneously.
Osi also features “Ignite,” a quick matching/swiping feature with information attached to images. Member information in “Ignite” features basic details such as location, children, height, body type and other information along with an image. This helps to make swiping less shallow and more about the person.
Members can also search by filtering via ethnicity, distance, or what STDs they are living with, among other basic traits. You can also sort members by most recently active or highest match percentage. There’s also a basic match feature based on your chosen requirements.
Finally, the app will show what any given member is living with but that will not be visible anywhere on the app. This is a special feature ….
